Kirac’s Vault is Grinding Gear Games’ that uses a battle pass type system for Road exile. The new purchasable card will work in conjunction with the existing free challenge system and is for those who want a little more flair when it comes to their adventures.
The card is available now for PC (with the ultimate consoles on board) for $30, and you can earn eight special skins that provide alternate skins for some popular weapons and items in the game. The skin is purely cosmetic and simply gives you additional effects. When you’re playing through The siege of Atlas, you may have completed certain objectives that will unlock Skins that you can get as you progress through the battle. You can buy cards until the end of the season, so if you’ve completed certain objectives at the time of card purchase, they’ll automatically unlock them for you. since you’ll need to get the Uniques that these skins work on, as the card won’t give you weapons since it’s all cosmetic, this might be a reason to pause for a while.
This is a system will work together with existing free reward system The siege of Atlas currently running. There is a progress bar to follow how many bonus goals do you complete and when you complete an objective for one of the skins you can go to Kirac’s Vault and claim it.
The skins you can unlock sometimes look intense, but they won’t give you a combat or gameplay advantage. For example, if you complete 84 map bounty objectives, you will unlock Titan’s MjöSkin lining, will send a bolt of lightning to enemies after you attack them. The Bloodthirsty Headhunter outfit will cause your enemies’ heads to explode when you steal their abilities. It’s all just great effects, even if these make your attacks look more brutal.
