A STREET is flooded due to clogged drains.

Water can be seen from curb to curb on Muster Green, Haywards Heath after heavy rain in Sussex this morning.

The flood comes after the Met Office warned of difficult driving conditions and “possible water surface flooding” following a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.

Parts of the county were hit by a torrential downpour this morning.

The water is not deep enough to prevent the passage of vehicles, but seeps into The Star Hotel’s beer garden.
