Juventus are set to hold new Paul Pogba transfer talks on Monday.

The Italian giants are set to meet with Pogba’s representatives in hopes of brokering a deal for the Manchester United midfielder.

World champion Pogba, 29, is leaving Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer and Juventus believe they are the favorites to take him ahead of Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid.

Juventus had already negotiated with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola but his death from illness has left Brazilian lawyer Rafaela Pimenta responsible for the final details.

It would be a notable deal for Juventus as they would be signing him for the second time and while PSG may have made a better offer, the Italians are very hopeful.

Pogba has long dreamed of a move to Real Madrid but the Spanish giants have hesitated, which has cleared the way for the other two clubs.

Juventus are willing to offer Pogba £8m a year – that’s £160,000 a week – plus a huge bonus package and signup fees, making it a lucrative deal even if the base salary isn’t one of football’s highest terms.

They are also selling him a vision that he would be a big star and the most important man in the club’s future, having signed Dušan Vlahović for £62m from Fiorentina in January, while Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini will both leave this summer .

Juventus want to build their team around him and see Pogba as one of the best midfielders in world football despite his turbulent six years at United.

Pogba joined Juventus from United in 2012 as a teenager, then returned to Old Trafford for £89million in 2016 – and now the Italians are hoping to steal him from United again, this time on a free transfer.

It would be a remarkable return for Pogba, who enjoyed his early days at Juventus and even after six mixed years at United, all the top European clubs are keen on him.

Manchester City have been offered the chance to sign Pogba but the United midfielder has decided against a move to another Premier League club and wants to make a fresh start.
