Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has claimed just one member of Ralf Rangnick’s squad is good enough to make it into either Liverpool or Man City’s starting XI.

The 28-year-old is in the final stages of his contract with United and will become a free agent at the end of the season.
Interim boss Ralf Rangnick is determined to keep the French enigmatic player in the squad, however, urging him to use the remaining weeks as an opportunity to put himself in the store.
Pogba missed a string of fixtures during the festive period with an injury, but after returning in January he has been in fine form.

Against Leeds United on Sunday, the club’s record signing put on a swashbuckling display in the first half, before being withdrawn shortly after he started the flag.
But it was a performance reminiscent of why United were delighted to shell out £89m for his services in 2016.
Such is the gap between United and their biggest rivals City and Liverpool, few could argue that the Reds would be well represented in a combined squad involving both sides.
But legendary United midfielder Scholes believes that on his day, Pogba is capable of stepping into any Premier League next door – something that might come true as he chooses his next destination.
When asked which United players would make the top two starters list, Scholes told Premier League Productions: “Pogba will be at his best. He is the sign of what the club is doing. Every player is inconsistent.
“The people who run the club are not consistent in what they are doing.
“I used to be a big critic of Paul, but if you’re an anti-player coming to Old Trafford and you’re up against Fred and [Scott] McTominay ‘all day long’.
“Now, you don’t know what you’re going to get with Paul. But when he got to his game, he was brilliant.
“But when he’s not like that, then against your Liverpool and Man City you can have difficulty in their areas. Where will Man United go next year to replace him? ”

Scholes’ verdict marks a decisive change from his harsh judgment against the same player earlier this season.
After a 2-2 draw with Atalanta in November, Scholes said Pogba was too “missing fairies” and doubted he would ever fix that flaw in his game.
“He needs someone to talk to him all the time, someone there that he completely respects and has experience with,” Scholes told BT Sport.
“He’s a really experienced player, but he’s going to be 35 and going to do the same stupid things, which is rolling the ball – and everyone knows it.
“The biggest thing with the player is his focus – sometimes he goes with fairies.”
