‘Pay boxers more’ – Jake Paul knocks out UFC 270 with Francis Ngannou earns £440k versus Tyson Fury’s £22m

JAKE PAUL hit the punch at UFC 270 and demanded Dana White ‘pay the fighters more’.
Metrics published after the pay-per-view event – headed by heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou – revealed £1.3m was spent on the entire card.
In the contract, WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, 33, is said to have earned a hefty £22m for his three-part fight with Deontay Wilder, 36.
YouTuber-turned-winner Paul, who has raked in £33m for a three-fight in 2021, has broken 270 UFC wallets recently.
He tweeted: “I can’t stress how bad this is..
“My next step to help resolve this situation will be announced tomorrow. RETURNS TO THE ADDITIONAL PERSON.”
Ngannou, 35, was paid £440,000 for the win over Gane, 31, but as champion he was given a PPV bonus.
Even so, the Cameroonian has asked for a raise and the clause in his contract allows him also box at the same time.

As it stands, Ngannou is a free agent who has been unable to renew his UFC contract, facilitated his dream to switch to boxing.
Fury tweeted: “Congratulations @francis_ngannou but if you want real money go see GK.”
Ngannou sparked speculation he would step out of the UFC and switch to boxing after being riddled with post-fight.
He said: “As I always say, boxing is always in my pocket. That’s what I have to do before I end my career.
“And right now, I’m really looking for any opportunity to have that because I don’t have to live here all my life. So I better start thinking about it.”
