People are just now noticing a “secret” iPhone trick you should use every day

THERE IS a really handy iPhone gesture you’ve probably overlooked.

It can make your life a lot easier and it’s that simple.

With the “three-finger method” – as the iPhone hack could now be called – content can be copied and pasted extremely quickly.

It’s much faster than the usual method.

Take text for example.

Normally you would double-tap to highlight a single word, with the option to lengthen the drag handle.

However, if you triple tap, you’ll find that the entire paragraph is highlighted.

You can then copy, cut, search, translate or share the text on your iPhone.

Better yet, you can use an enhanced finger gesture that makes this feature even more powerful.

First select some text that you want to copy.

Then pinch three fingers together on the display.

This will copy the text.

Then perform the opposite gesture (spreading the thread fingers outward) to paste what you copied.

the Apple trick works on anything you want to copy.

In fact, it even works on photos.

If you go into your Photos app and do the three finger pinch, you can quickly paste that image into another app.

It’s an easy way to quickly move a picture in WhatsApp or Messages.

For text, you can also add an extra pinch and your copy will turn into a cut.

This means that the text is removed and not simply copied.

That’s not all

That’s not the only quirky way to move photos.

Just go to your Photos app and hold your finger on a photo.

Then navigate to a message chat without sharing and drop the image on the drawing bar.

The selected photo will then appear in Messages.

You can even select and hold multiple photos at once.

And many apps support this feature, so you can share it in multiple places.

It doesn’t just work through the Photos app.
