People are just now realizing that Netflix has a “secret club” where members get extra TV shows and movies

NETFLIX has a secret club – and the streaming giant apparently wants to expand it.

Only about 2,000 specially selected users are part of a VIP group with the privilege to watch movies and shows before they are released.

So it seems that the company is asking for more feedback from viewers to get their releases spot on.

Such a process is, of course, nothing new in the broader television and film industry.

But sources told the newspaper that Netflix plans to add tens of thousands of users around the world to its own secret club early next year.

The group is apparently known as the Netflix Preview Club and was formed more than a year ago.

It comes as the company struggles to retain subscribers amid a cost-of-living crisis.

Netflix has already rolled out a cheaper tier to get through some ads.

But the streaming giant faces stiff competition from rivals like Disney+, Amazon, and Paramount+, to name a few.

A person who claims to be part of the secret club further told users Reddit You have been invited to participate.

The position is unpaid and you must sign an NDA agreement so you don’t reveal anything to anyone but Netflix.

“They watch Netflix original movies before they’re released and take survey questions about them,” the insider said.

“They also have to sign a non-disclosure agreement because these really haven’t been released and are still in the final stages.

“You get a special Netflix account and they email you when they have a movie for you to watch.

“Usually you have to watch and check within a week.”
