As any iOS user will know, Apple’s version of the Stack feature is a scroll wheel.

But there’s actually a whole different way to set an alarm that people are just realizing.

And it’s actually been around for a while.

The trick allows you to do things the old-fashioned way – by which we mean setting the wake-up time.

And it’s very easy to do.

First, open the alarm app as usual.

Instead of scrolling the wheel, tap the numbers once.

They will turn orange and a keyboard will appear at the bottom.

You can then enter the time you want the alarm to go off.

Then click Save.
