People are now noticing an amazing iPhone “hidden app” hack that everyone should know about

EVERY iPhone has a really handy built-in app that you’ve probably missed.
It can be useful for just having fun – but it’s great if you do a bit of DIY too.
Actually, it’s technically two iPhone hacks: you have a measuring tool and a spirit level.
They’re both in the same app and will make things a lot easier when you’re doing a little home renovation.
The app is free and pre-installed on everyone iPhone with iOS 12 or higher.
You will almost certainly be using a newer iOS, but you can check by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
You can find the app by doing a search on your iPhone and then typing measure.
It can also be on your home screen.
The Measure app became available a few years ago as part of the Apple iOS 12 update.
It uses clever camera technology to determine distances, giving you a pretty accurate reading of how long or wide objects are.
To use it, simply point the camera at the object you want to measure.
If it’s an easy-to-track shape, Measure will automatically measure the width, length, and even calculate the surface area of the object.
Alternatively, you can create your own lines and shapes using the large plus button on screen.
This allows you to drag endpoints around your viewfinder and measure objects that aren’t automatically captured.
You can also use the circle icon to take pictures of what you are measuring.
The Measure app is even more accurate on newer iPhone models with an integrated LiDAR sensor.
It works by emitting beams of light at the person in question and timing how long it takes for them to return.
The phone can map what it’s focusing on and measure what’s in front of it.
You have LiDAR on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
But that’s not all.
The Apple Measure app also has a spirit level feature.
Yes, your iPhone has a built-in feature that can figure out if a surface is flat, so you can get rid of your giant, clunky bubble level.
Tap the Levels tab at the bottom left of the screen.
It shows the degree of angle of your phone’s surface.
The feature also uses two white circles to highlight the angle at which the surface is tilted.
If you wiggle your phone to line up the circles, the degree counter will reset to zero.

The screen also goes (helpfully) green, indicating it’s a completely flat surface.
If you have vibration enabled, you will also feel a slight vibration once your surface is level.
