People are realizing the mind-blowing iPhone “Call Secret” you’ve never noticed before

LONG-TIME iPhone owners have received hundreds or even thousands of calls — but there’s still a lot to learn.

If you’ve ever wondered why all phone calls don’t appear the same on your iPhone, you’re not alone.

It’s not immediately apparent why there are two different calling screens on the iPhone.

One appears with the legendary slide-to-unlock feature that Apple has been using for years.

But sometimes a phone call shows up with “Answer” and “Reject” buttons instead.

Luckily, the myth was debunked in a viral video from the TikTok tech expert @makhirtechwhich has garnered over 12,000 likes.

In fact, you only have the option to accept or decline when your iPhone is unlocked.

This appears either on the lock screen (if you’re unlocked) or as a pop-up notification at the top of the screen.

The answer slide is shown specifically when your iPhone is locked.

However, iPhone pros will know that it’s still possible to reject a call even with Slide To Unlock showing up.

Just tap the power button once to stop iPhone ringing.

And if you double-click the iPhone power button, the call will be rejected.

It’s not entirely clear why there are two different call screens.

A popular theory is that slide unlocking prevents accidental button presses while an iPhone is locked and in your pocket.
