For this reason, it’s a good idea to turn off audio recording if you’re concerned about embarrassing your guests – or yourself.

How to disable audio recording on Ring

“One of the privacy features on Ring devices allows you to disable your device’s audio streaming and recording capabilities,” Amazon explained.

First, open your Ring app.

Now tap on the three lines in the top left and then go to Devices.

Next, select the device for which you want to edit the settings.

Now tap Device Settings > Privacy Settings.

Here you can toggle audio streaming and recording on or off.

Remember that you can change these settings at any time.
