“People say my kids will be embarrassed about my unique face tattoo — but I’m a cool mom.”

A mom with a unique inking on her face has slammed back cruel trolls who claim moms just shouldn’t get body art, and made her thoughts crystal clear on the subject

Alexandra has challenged stereotypes about what a mother should look like

It would be a boring old world if we all looked the same, but unfortunately there are many people out there who feel compelled to judge how others look.

This is especially true when it comes to mum shaming, as some people have narrow and outdated ideas of what a mother “should” look like, regardless of their personal style.

One mother has come forward to challenge such prejudice, and is responding to those who ask her to consider what her children will one day think of her creative ink.

Mom and artist Alexandra Jenssen, who has a line tattoo that runs from her lower lip all the way down her neck, recently shared a video with her TikTok followers expressing her thoughts on the subject.

In a video of her contently snuggling with her baby, Alexandra, who goes by the username @alexandrajenssen, wrote: “When they say moms shouldn’t have tattoos! What will your children think?”

Alexandra offered her response with a firm one-finger salute, replying, “That they have cooler parents than you!”

Many followers applauded her stance, and one mother agreed: “The only thing mothers shouldn’t do is not love their children, nothing else matters.”

Another said: “Kids don’t care about tattoos. As long as their basic needs like warmth, love, food, water, milk, etc. are met, they are happy.”

Others suggested there were several benefits of having a tattooed parent, which they say could teach children a valuable lesson that “everyone is different.”

Alexandra says she’s cooler not because of her tattoos but because she doesn’t judge people by their looks

In a follow-up video, Alexandra responded to a person who misrecorded her video because she thought tattoos would make a parent instantly cool.

Alexandra clarified, “The point is, because I don’t judge people by their looks, my kids will probably think I’m cooler than the person making that comment.

“I don’t throw shitty comments like that at anyone I don’t know just because they have a wrinkle on their face.”
