‘PERFECTIONIST’ Adele allegedly canceled her Las Vegas performances after regulators tried to get her to perform with a 60-person choir.
The star, who reportedly wanted the production to go light, cried on Instagram last night as she revealed her residency had been canceled with just 24 hours left.
Adele filmed an apology scene from a £30,000-a-night room at Caesars Palace, where she remains focused with her management team and boyfriend Rich Paul.
She said Covid had ordered production and the date would be rescheduled, adding: “I can’t give you what I have right now.
“It’s not ready yet.”
The singer, who was expected to be paid £500,000 for a show even before the sale, said “half” of her film crew had to pull out after contracting coronavirus.
“We tried absolutely everything we could to put it together Just in time and good enough for you, but we were completely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid,” she said.
But one industry veteran said he “can’t believe the news” – adding: “‘The show has to go on’ is the first thing you learn in the business – the last.”
I said Daily mail: “Adele is a perfectionist and she’s got her form in this area.
“She’s canceled shows before – she canceled two shows in London in 2017 that she said she would reschedule and she never did.”
Others said that Adele wanted it to be “all about voice”, and asked for a makeover performance.
Despite her wishes, the venue planned epic production effects. Adele was able to perform with the support of dozens of musicians and singers.
Earlier this month, a choir of 60 singers auditioned to sing the Skyfall opening.

Rumored journalist Roger Freidman says he believes there is a problem on January 18 as hundreds of tickets are available on a resale site for around £400 a time, at reduced prices.
“The entire Adele Vegas residence is a disaster,” he wrote.
“But the last-minute ‘We’re not ready’ didn’t hold the water. This isn’t a Rolling Stones stage show.
“Adele live is her, an orchestra and some lights.
“She’s not rowing across the theater, there’s no fireworks.
“Plus, let’s face it… it’s just two shows per weekend.
“If the show isn’t ready, it can be postponed by a few weeks, and missed performances can be rescheduled at the end of the run.”
Adele is known to suffer heavily with stage fright, and has has previously said that she doesn’t like touring.
In 2008, she withdrew from the US tour, before doing the same in 2011 when she had trouble with her voice due to laryngitis and laryngeal hemorrhage.
