Graham Potter is excited to see what Pervis Estupinan can do – as the Ecuador national team wish him well at Albion.
Estupinan has been on board for five seasons following his move from Villarreal.
He wants to impress in his new environment and come to the World Cup in top form.
The 24-year-old will help fill the gap left by the departure of the versatile Marc Cucurella to Chelsea.
Albion boss Graham Potter said: “We are excited about what Pervis brings to us and he fills a position that we wanted to bring more depth.
“In addition to his international experience, he has played for Villarreal in the Champions League and Europa League and has ample experience in LaLiga.
“We will help him settle down here in England but we look forward to working with him and seeing him in action in the Premier League.”
The national team’s Twitter account @LaTri wished Estupinan “success in this new phase” of his career.
