GMB: Peter Andre shares ‘fear’ for Junior as he signs record contract
Peter Andre said he is encouraging his daughter’s singing career after his son Junior signed a recording contract.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 49, said his two older children – who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price – are following in his musical footsteps.
However, Peter insists his daughter Princess, 14, won’t sign any record deal, as he says she’ll have to wait another two years, just like her big brother Junior.
Peter said the boy has a “wonderful voice,” and the father-son duo “gets along well” in his recording studio.
“I’m encouraging her to start writing,” he told New! Journal.
“But those were early days. I’m going to let her grow over the next few years, because you don’t want to be just a singer, you also want to be a musician. That’s how you become successful,” shared Peter.
The singer said his father prevented him from signing any music contracts until he was 16, and Peter is keen to keep that tradition alive for his children.
He revealed that he held back from letting Junior sign anything until he was 16, and that he hopes that with his advice the budding musician will succeed.
Peter admits the music industry is like a lion’s den, but he believes Junior will be hugely successful.
