Peter Andre has dealt a blow to critics, who have seen him in action in Grease’s latest West End film: The Musical to a dismay.
The 49-year-old chart-topping star has a part in the musical revival, which features relative newcomers Dan Partridge and Olivia Moore playing the lead roles of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski, respectively.
Peter takes on the role of Vince Fontaine, who was played by End Byrnes in the classic 1978 adaptation of the musical.
And while fans and some critics have been thoroughly excited by the latest adaptation – now showing at London’s Dominion Theatre – others have not been beaten by the performances.

Write in his weekly column for New! Journal, Peter ruminates on the varying degrees of praise he has received from critics.
He wrote: “We’ve received some great reviews for Grease and I’ve had some lovely compliments from critics. I still get a buzz from that after all these years.
“There are also a few critics who are not very kind. I understand both sides. But for me, that speaks for itself that every show is full and we’re getting a standing ovation every night. ”
Peter is so understanding of the bad reviews he seems to have come to his weekly column to hit back at those who dare claim his show is anything less than five stars.

However, he added: “The West End is a competitive battleground, so to get any good reviews is great.”
Peter has actually received some brilliant reviews from critics – with the star even highlighting one that indirectly mocked his penis size in the process.
Star fans will know that Pete finds himself unfortunately dragged into a defamation trial between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney as previously discussed the Australian-born member in a previous interview – compare the size of his penis with a chipolata sausage.

With headlines about Peter’s dismembered being discussed in court, The Telegraph shed some light on the scandal in their own four-star review of the musical.
They note: “Grease, review: Peter Andre shines with a small but prominent part” – seemingly clearing up the reports that Pete’s penis has been mocked by Rebekah.
However, Peter didn’t seem to mind as he happily shared a screenshot of the review and posted it to his Instagram Stories feed.
He wrote: “Thank you for this excellent review” – tagging the Telegraph in his response.
Peter has previously hit back at Rebekah’s comments and accused the media of double standards.
He has said in the past: “If a man says this about her anatomy and makes up something, you can use your imagination, say something very unflattering, there will be absolute outrage.
“But because people talked about me, it was just a joke.”

“I’m super excited to be making my West End debut as Vince Fontaine in Grease, which is such an iconic musical,” he told the audience.
