Peter Andre Talks About His Love for Harvey Price and Beating Dwight Yorke

Peter Andre shed tears as he talked about Katie Price’s plan to adopt her son Harvey in a clip unearthed from Sky News.

The Mysterious Girl singer became emotional after being shown Harvey’s estranged father, Dwight Yorke in 2010, rejected his son’s plans to become a legal father.

Dwight said: “I understood that he had to play some part, because that was part of the baggage when you were involved with Kate.

“But for him to say that he is going to adopt my child – and now look at what has happened in the last four years. [Pete and Katie split].

“Is he prepared to adopt Harvey at this stage? I do not think so. The cause was on the father, which was me in the first place, so that’s why that shouldn’t be mentioned.”

After seeing the clip during an interview with Sky News’ Kay Burley, Pete shot back: “No disrespect, but has he seen Harvey since this interview?

“Below is this line. I just love that child, and I don’t care what anyone says, I love that child. I saw that child.

“For me, a little thank you would be nice instead of telling me. I applied for him because I love him. I’m not asking to adopt it as disrespectful. I get angry when people come back and I get a comment like that.”

Things turned sour when Kay asked Pete how he would react if one of Katie’s partners tried to take his two children, Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, from the marriage. His mistress became a glamor model.

With tears in his eyes, he said: “No one can take my children away from me – no one. I will fight to the death for it.”

Trying to establish himself, the now father of four tells Kay: “I didn’t expect it, I’m sorry. I will die for those children.”

Sorry, Kay explained to viewers at home that Pete had been told he was going to watch a clip of Dwight and was asked about his kids.

“We didn’t mean to upset you. Tell me about the tour,” she said as she tried to change the subject.

But annoyed Pete chose to cut the interview short and say, “I’d rather stop this if it’s okay.”

The interview then drew 881 complaints against Ofcom from viewers at home, who accused Kay of “bullying” Pete. Sky News was subsequently cleared of any wrongdoing.

Writing on her blog after the interview, Kay shared that Pete “sobbed on my shoulder” in the green room.

She said: “Peter Andre was very upset during my performance and when I went to check during the ad that he was fine, he sobbed on my shoulder in the green room. .

“He had found out not 12 hours earlier that the mother of his two children was married without bothering to tell him and was devastated to think she might want to take the kids away. he.”

At the time, Katie had just married second husband Alex Reid in a snap wedding in Las Vegas just nine months after her divorce from Pete.

She later married stripper Kieran Hayler, with whom she shares children Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven – and is now engaged to former Love Island star Carl Woods.

While Pete has been married to Dr. Emily MacDonagh since 2015 and they share children Amelia, 8, and Theo, 5.
