Junior, whose mother is Katie Price, is set to follow in his famous father’s footsteps with a career in the music business.
It was announced last summer that the 16-year-old had signed a Megabucks record deal with the same label that handles Calvin Harris and Harry Styles.
The teenager has spent the last few months recording tracks with producers at studios in London.
He was spotted filming the music video for his first single in the capital, believed to be called Just Two Drops.
It’s yet to be released, but it looks like Junior might try a rap career – so will he end up being a lot cooler than his dad Pete?
Junior shared his excitement about a record deal, saying, “Wow… where do I start? These last 6 months have been hectic. But I loved every single second of it.
“My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and put me in the booth at @rebelrecs. Since then I’ve been secretly working on a MASSIVE project and not long ago I got a call saying @columbiauk wants to sign me!
“I just want to thank the @rebelrecs team along with my dad for helping me grow into an artist.”
Proud father Peter said he feels “very fortunate” to be part of the process with his son and to “help in any way he can with his career” having started in the industry himself as a teenager.
Fans could even be treated to a father-son duet in the future – as Peter has said he wants to record a track with Junior.
He said OK! Magazine: “[Junior’s] very secretive about his music, but it’s incredible.”
The pop star admitted their styles are “completely different,” but added, “He’s going to appeal to a whole new generation and I’m going to appeal to the older generation. We’ll do some stuff together too, but that’s more for later than now.”
Peter has released 11 studio albums and 28 singles. He made the Top 3 six times in the 1990s, with Mysterious Girl, Flava, I Feel You, All About Us with Montell Jordan and Lil Bo Peep.
He unleashed Mysterious Girl again, followed by Insania and Behind Closed Doors in the Noughties.
