Peter Dinklage blasts Disney for ‘outdated’ remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

ACTOR Peter Dinklage has let Disney down with his “outdated” remake of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

The star, 52, of dwarf form, accused the studio of setting double standards by working for racial diversity while perpetuating other stereotypes.

He said, “I was a bit surprised by the fact that they were so proud to cast a Latina actress for the role Snow White – but you’re still telling the story of the Seven Dwarfs.

“You’re progressing in some way, but you’re still doing the old-fashioned story of the seven dwarves living in a cave.

“I did nothing to verify the cause of my soap box? I guess I’m not loud enough.”

Born in America Rachel Zegler, 20 years old, who has a Colombian mother and a Polish father, was cast in the role Snow White in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of its 1937 animated classic.

But Game of Thrones star Peter told WTF of the comics Marc Maron? podcast: “All love and respect to the actress and the people who think they did the right thing but I just said, ‘What are you doing?'”
