Seinfeld and Modern Family star Philip Baker Hall has died aged 90.
The news was announced Monday by Los Angeles Times sports journalist Sam Farmer, his friend and neighbor.
Sam wrote in a tweet: “My neighbor, friend and one of the wisest, most talented and kindest people I have ever met, Philip Baker Hall, passed away peacefully on last night. He is surrounded by loved ones. The world has a void in it.”
The cause of death has not been released, but Philip did not have emphysema.
This is partly because he contracted pneumonia as a child.
The condition meant that by the end of his career, Philip could only shoot a few minutes at a time.
