Phillip Schofield shares fear of ‘nuclear world war’

Phillip Schofield shared fears of a nuclear World War following Russia’s war crimes following an airstrike on a children’s hospital in Mariupol.

The This Morning star, 59, spoke sternly as he discussed the tragic air strike that shocked the world.

So far, the incredible attack has left 3 people dead, including a 6-year-old child.

It also left at least 17 people injured, including pregnant women, doctors and children buried under the rubble.

Discussing the consequences of the devastating airstrikes, Phillip considered the possibility of a nuclear World War if NATO denounced Putin’s target as a children’s hospital.

“We talk about war crimes and we talk about NATO – it would appear an absolute red line that NATO would cross that border because there was some fire exchange,” Phillip said.

“But we could be in a World War – we could be in a nuclear World War. People will have to tread very carefully because there is a possibility of talk about space. Biogas and chemical weapons are heavier than air and they seep into the bunker.

“It’s harrowing.”

It comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of committing genocide after officials reported that Russian planes had bombed a children’s hospital on Wednesday.

“A hospital for children. A maternity hospital. How did they threaten the Russian Federation?” Zelenskyy asked in his nightly video address.

“What country is this, the Russian Federation is afraid of hospitals, afraid of maternity hospitals, ruined?”
