Phillip Schofield missed ITV’s Queen’s Jubilee plan
Phillip Schofield had to wince after letting go of some plans for the Queen’s Platinum Year.
The 60-year-old will join Julie Etchingham to celebrate the big day for ITV and has revealed he already knows some secrets about what’s to come.
Joined by co-host Holly Willoughby on This Morning, they discussed the lineup for the Miss People pageant for the first time.
The 96-year-old royal will celebrate 70 years on the throne and be the first British monarch to reach the milestone.
Holly said: “The celebration lineup has been announced, we continue to be teased with these different acts. Basil Brush, singer Ed Sheeran and Sir Cliff Richard are among the national treasures that will be treasured. be at the People’s Festival of the Platinum Year on Sunday, June 5.

“So the Queen has obviously been through a lot of terrible things – Cliff Richard, Ed Sheeran, Basil Brush! She’s a fan!”
But Phil points out: “It’s for us, certainly, not necessarily for Your Majesty.”
He added: “I’ll show you the big Sunday broadcast that ITV announced. We’re broadcasting the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration. I’m actually hosting the show. there with Julie Etchingham – we had our first meeting the day before.”

Excited, Holly asked, “Do you know things that we don’t?”
“I know so many things! I can only say so many horses and all the things that she really loves,” Phil teased.
Holly exclaimed: “Hmm! Very interesting!”
But Phil wasn’t quite sure what he said as he paled, remarking, “You get it! I hope that’s the right thing to say…”
