PHILLIP Schofield has revealed he is still testing positive for Covid – throwing Dancing on Ice into chaos.
The 59-year-old was forced out of This Morning show this week after falling ill with the virus.
He was replaced by Alison Hammond, Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson throughout the week.
But his return to Dancing on Ice this Sunday has yet to be revealed.
Phillip must have two negative lateral flow tests before he can return to present later this week.
Sharing pictures of his positive lateral flow test, Phillip told fans tonight: “The one I keep getting.”
And he also shared another jokey result that said “pub” on the test, adding: “The one I want.”
Assuring his followers of his well-being, Phillip said: “Feels 100% well in quarantine.”
If he doesn’t test positive twice between now and Sunday, his colleague Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby may have a new co-star.
And as The Sun revealed this week, ITV bosses are considering an all-female show duo for the show’s return on Sunday.
A TV insider said: “ITV is a progressive channel who wants to reflect the modern world as much as possible.
“And while the bosses of Dancing on Ice are heartbroken to see Phillip forced to leave his hosting duties temporarily, it also provides an opportunity for the two women to front the show.
“The producers saw the energy Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman brought to Serious and they were curious to see how Holly beat another female presenter.
“But there is no problem with Phillip not coming back. He’s going to champion a bit to get back to work. “
