Today Phillip Schofield wasn’t most impressed with Chef Phil Vickery’s menu on This Morning.
The 60-year-old appeared to join host Holly Willoughby and discover what they would eat later on on the show.
Revealing what he’ll be doing later on the show, Phil teases his juicy spiced lamb roast – but upsets the host after revealing what he’ll be serving with them .
“I have some barbecue here that we’re going to play with, along with a pickle that I had in a restaurant a few weeks ago,” he revealed.
“Also, couscous! A lot of people don’t like it, but if you have a lot of flavor into it -“
Interrupting, Schofe said: “Wait, hold, hold, hold. What did you just say? Couscous? It’s horrible, it must be non-food packaging!”
When complaining, Holly pointed out: “It’s not as bad as polenta, you hate polenta!”
Schofe paled again when he admitted that polenta was even worse, and Holly agreed that it was at least a “unique” take on that dish.
Chef Phil insists he will try to make the dish taste good because it all depends on “taste control”.
“If anyone can make it adorable, it’s you,” says Phil.
It comes after Holly made a bold statement about Piers Morgan ahead of the premiere of his new show tonight.
Discussing comments Trump made in his interview that suggested the Queen should strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s titles, Holly and Phillip Schofield were joined by Gyles Brandreth and Camilla Tominey.
Speaking of Trump, Holly said bluntly: “He’s never been a fan of Meghan, has he? He’s been pretty stubborn from the start. He seems to blame her for all of that. “
“Also, he’s talking to Piers Morgan, who’s also not a fan of Meghan,” Camilla commented.
Raising an eyebrow, Holly said, “Not very balanced in that conversation.”
