Britain’s Prince Louis was photographed barefoot, laughing and ready for a game of beach cricket in a series of images taken to mark his fourth birthday.
The young king was photographed with the Duchess of Cambridge enjoying themselves in the Norfolk dunes, which are a popular attraction for tourists who flock to the county each summer.
Four pictures of Louis, who turns four on Saturday, have been released showing that William and Kate’s youngest child is growing up fast.
Pictures were taken earlier this month and the young prince is wearing a gray jumper decorated with a band of multicolored stars across the chest, shirt and shorts.
In two of the images, with grassy sand dunes in the background, Louis is holding what appears to be a pink cricket ball used in day-night games.
Kate photographed her barefoot son as if he were about to start his run to bowling in another image, taken on the beach, with the sea in the distance.
The final image is a portrait of the Duchess, who photographed her laughing son as he sits in the dunes.
William and Kate spend much of their time away from London at their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, on the Queen’s Sandringham estate, near the county coast.
The Duchess is an enthusiastic and accomplished amateur photographer who accepted an Honorary Life Membership of the Royal Photographic Society in 2017, which recognized her “talent and enthusiasm”.
She regularly posts pictures of her children on important occasions like birthdays and other important milestones.
The Cambridges’ youngest child, fifth in line to the British throne, was born on St George’s Day, April 23, 2018, in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, weighing 8lbs 7oz .
