Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang revealed that Aston Villa central defender Tyrone Mings was the toughest defender he had ever faced.

32 year old Aubameyang passed away Arsenal after four years last month and got off to a great start at Camp Nou as a Barcelona player.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Tyrone Mings played against each other earlier this season

The likes of Mats Hummels, Virgil van Dijk and Vincent Kompany have all posed a test for Aubameyang at different stages of his career, but the former Arsenal star says Mundo Deportivo None of the aforementioned trios are the hardest to deal with.

The former north London favorite has since tried to keep his legacy intact with Arsenal fans following his departure by insisting he only has an issue with manager Mikel Arteta.

At his official Barcelona debut, the striker was asked if his problems at the Emirates revolved around the Spaniard.

He replied, “I think it was just with him and then he made this decision,” Aubameyang replied. “He’s not happy and that’s it. I’m calm.”

It is thought the striker infuriated his manager by returning late from a mid-season trip to France to see family members during a lousy run on the pitch.
