Piers Morgan announces the first interview on his new show will be with Donald Trump

Piers Morgan has announced that the first interview on his new show will be with former US President Donald Trump.
The 57-year-old TV presenter has released a dramatic video trailer for his conversation with Mr Trump, which will air next week with the launch of his show Piers Morgan Uncensored.
The 30-second ad shows the pair’s altercation over Mr Trump’s claims that the last US election was rigged and appears to show him storming off camera after the promised “most explosive interview of the year”.
Morgan’s 75-minute interview will air Monday at 8 p.m. on TalkTV.
This comes after Morgan also announced he will also return to ITV for the first time in more than a year as a guest on Saturday’s Lorraine show.
He made headlines last year after leaving the ITV breakfast show following an on-air clash with weather presenter Alex Beresford over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The former tabloid editor said he doesn’t believe Meghan’s claims from the headline-grabbing interview as his comments sparked more than 50,000 complaints, the most in Ofcom’s history.
Alongside a picture of himself and presenter Lorraine Kelly, he wrote: “BREAKING: I’ll be returning to ITV tomorrow for the first time since the Markle debacle… live and definitely uncensored on @lorraine with the fabulous @reallorraine – should be fun… (may even rushing back to @GMB while I wait and upping those ratings again.)”

Sharon Osbourne appears on The Talk weekdays at 9pm.
Uncensored streams on Fox Nation in the US and airs on Sky News Australia.
Watchdog Ofcom ruled Good Morning Britain had not breached the Broadcasting Code over Morgan’s controversial comments.
No permanent replacement has been announced since his departure from the show, as Richard Madeley and others appear in a rotating cast of guest presenters.
