Prince Harry slammed in Piers Morgan rant uncensored

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan called out singer Bette Middler for her ‘tone deafening’ comments about Ukraine.

As the country continues to defend itself against Russian aggression, the Remote star, 76, shared an image of a little girl holding a Ukrainian flag.

Referring to the effect the devastating war is having on gasoline prices, Bette captioned the post: “I would happily pay her extra for gas.”

Piers, 56, was annoyed by the superstar’s statement and quickly clapped his hands in response: “What a humble sacrifice from a Hollywood star with a net worth of £250 million.”

The broadcaster’s response sparked private controversy, with one follower replying: “Grab Piers! Bette Middler is genuine and sincere.”

While another said: “It’s not how much money she has, but the love in her statement”.

However, a third expressed agreement with Piers, posting: “What about those who can’t afford the extra gas?

“She’s basically saying that those people lack empathy and compassion, the things she’s trying so hard to convince the people she has.”

Piers has taken to Twitter several times since the heartbreaking attacks on Ukraine began last month.

When news broke about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade the country, the presenter made it clear his feelings about the 69-year-old man.

On Twitter Piers wrote: “” Putin invaded Ukraine. This is an act of war by a bully thug who doesn’t think the rest of the world has the courage or will to stop him. It’s shameful. “

The presenter also got into a scuffle with his son Spencer, 28, over the atrocities.

He never leaves the drama

At the start of the month, Spencer tweeted: “If you’re not personally prepared to fight, I don’t think you can make the direct call to action that would most likely lead to World War 3.”

Morgan disagreed with his son’s remarks, replying: “Strange thinking for a journalist … so only serving in the military can comment on whether military action is appropriate. legal/necessary when a dictator illegally invades a democratic country?”

Responding to a follower who wanted to clarify that Spencer is actually a journalist, Piers said: “He’s… Morgans we enjoy a bit of Twitter beef, even together.

The sports journalist retweeted his father’s reply, adding: “Fortunately, we have the brains so we can protest without fail. Lots of people here should try it. ”

As the war continued, several countries imposed sanctions on Russia.

However, Piers was not impressed with the offer of US President Joe Biden.

In his latest tweet, this journalist quipped: “President Biden banned Russian vodka, caviar and diamonds to prevent Putin from flattening Ukrainian cities.
