Piers Morgan has included some big names on his new TalkTV show but his latest chat has him awkwardly hanged after praising Tyson Fury.
The world heavyweight champion joined the presenter to talk about all things life and boxing on Wednesday, and Piers wanted to show his appreciation to the 6ft9 superstar.
However, his kind words were not heard by The Gypsy King, 33, after technical difficulties interrupted the discussion.
At the end of the show, Piers, 57, spoke of Tyson as a “great champion” and stated that he had “had one of the all-time great careers as a boxer”. .
“I’ve interviewed you many times, and I think you’ve had one of the all-time great careers as a boxer,” Piers said.
“If this is really over, I just want to say on behalf of all the fans around the world and sports lovers to thank you for everything you’ve done because you’ve made us all proud. .

“Especially in this country, you’ve made us proud to be British and you’re just a great champion. So thank you so much for everything you’ve done.”
It was an awkward pause after Piers’ comments before the boxer was heard muttering: “He’s gone.”
Piers continued: “Oh, he’s gone. He didn’t hear my compliments!”
Tyson had previously hinted at Piers about his retirement plans, insisting that “no material wealth or money” could change his mind.
“The fans will always want more, they’re always trying to get more blood but I have nothing left to give,” he said.
It follows his sixth-round knockout match against Dillian Whyte in front of 94,000 people at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
“I’ve given everything I’ve got. I’ve been pro for 14 years and I’ve been boxing for 20. Every good dog has a day in the sun and it’s time for me to go out in the air, ” he continued.
“They won’t be in a hurry to forget the Gypsy King. No material possessions or money can make me go back to retirement because I’m very happy.”
The conversation began with Piers’ explosive interview with the former president of the United States, Donald Trump.
The build-up to the aired interview was filled with hatred, with the former president hitting Piers for what he called a “cheating” preview clip to show him stepping out.
Donald appeared to walk away from Piers in the preview clip, but after it aired, fans were unimpressed with the actual event.
Piers is gearing up for the flagship show on brand new TV channel TalkTV as part of a three-year £50m deal.
