Furious Piers Morgan has slammed Kim Kardashian for pocketing her brand of shapewear during a lecture on prisoner executions.
The outspoken TV presenter, 57, addressed the 41-year-old reality star after watching a video of her speaking about the topic on Instagram Live – where she managed to secretly get a plug for in the emotional chat pinch SKIMS.
Piers branded the mum-of-four “disgustingly deaf” as he agreed with fans that it’s not the time or place for Kim to promote her range or talk about herself.
“I was working on the Brandon Bernard case and he actually got executed,” Kim began in the clip.
“I remember crying and feeling so helpless because it was his last call and he said to me, ‘don’t cry, everything will be fine’.
“When he heard that he was worried that he would become claustrophobic in the chair, on his last call to the execution room he said, ‘Please tell Kim I don’t have claustrophobia — it’s fine.'”
The star added: “I think if only someone could see my day. I’m crying hysterically and calling every governor I can think of to try and stop someone’s execution.
“And then I have to hit a SKIMS adjustment and I adjust and I cry and I can’t really get my job done.
“It was just such a whirlwind of a day.”

One person shared a snippet of the video on Twitter and captioned it, “Only Kim Kardashian could do the execution of a felon all on herself — and she even worked in a Skims promo.”
Piers, who agreed, quoted the original material and wrote: “Disgustingly deaf.”
Fans were also stunned by Kim’s comment.
One shared: “Maybe we need to have a moment of silence to interrupt her day and not the man who died.”
A second added: “I said that when I saw it on IG. She strategically sneaked into an ad for Skims. Brilliant I must say. smh.”
Another wrote: “I’m glad I’ve never seen her on TV, she sums up a lot of what’s wrong in the world today.”
Meanwhile, others supported Kim’s corner.
One added: “Honestly at least she’s doing something with these cases. Most people can’t even sign a petition online. And not everyone is guilty. Historical data has shown that.”
Another said: “What a terribly sexist and misogynistic thing to say about this @Kim Kardashian. She has used her time, her fame, and her fame to fight for justice where none has prevailed. What activism are YOU involved in? They criticize celebs who are apathetic as well as those who are benevolent #JackPosobiec.”
Kim has been embroiled in a lot of controversy recently, sparking fury with a recent Variety interview.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star hinted that women “these days don’t want to work” as she addressed those she felt weren’t doing enough to lead successful lives.
But she has since addressed the backlash in an ABC News interview with Robin Roberts, who asked what she meant and what she now wants to say about it.
Kim replied to the broadcaster: “Well that statement I made was without questions and conversation. It became a soundbite, really out of context.
“It wasn’t a blanket statement to women or feeling like I don’t respect the work or think they don’t work hard. I know they do. It was taken out of context.”
