Piers Morgan celebrated a celebratory ratings win as he returned for the second season of his Uncensored Show Tuesday night.

The former Good Morning Britain host, 57, said he was “making television history” with his TalkTV programme, after revealing that the show’s opening night drew more viewers than with BBC, Sky and GB News ratings combined.

In an opening monologue tonight, Piers said: “Last night’s show made television history. Today I have been showered with praise and criticism equally.

“I’ve promised to bug all the right people and we’re off to a good start.”

Piers brags about how his explosive interview with Donald Trump has attracted worldwide attention, before confirming world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will be interviewed on his show it tomorrow night.

Piers’ 8 p.m. evening show drew 317,000 viewers, while Uncensored celebrated 588,000 followers across linear TV platforms, including its 11 p.m. repeat.

It made TalkTV the most watched news channel during the peak three hours with 809,000 subscribers.

After celebrating his ratings win at the top of the show, Piers moved on to the second part of his interview with Donald Trump, in which the former US President praised the Queen and called the Prince Andrew scandal “” terrible thing for a lot of people”.
