Recently, Piers stated that he would slap his co-star if he didn’t walk away.
Referring to the shocking moment when Will Smith hit Chris Rock live on air, he tweeted in March: “Too many Oscars fun-filled ski shots. You might think Will Smith was wrong to slap Chris Rock but still understand why he would do it if he thinks – incorrectly – Rock is deliberately mocking his wife’s hair loss in front of millions of people. I guess I did too.”
One rather skeptical follower shared a screenshot of the famous moment he stepped out of GMB and tweeted: “Of course!”
Piers quoted tweeted the comment and wrote: “Ironically, I stepped out to stop myself from slapping him…”
