Piers Morgan said he ‘respects’ Britney Spears for sharing nude snaps after she was released from her role of conservator of her ‘torture room’.

The Toxic hitmaker, 40, made headlines earlier this week when she posted a series of nude photos from a vacation she and fiance Sam Asghari enjoyed in Mexico last year, with just one emoji. Her love heart covers her modesty.

“Don’t underestimate the power of doing it yourself and shooting with a selfie stick!!! Photo yard before there was a child inside of me,” Britney captioned the photos.

Her fans were quick to comment on the slideshow, with some expressing concern for her mental health, as she regularly shares chilling photos on social media following upon being released from a 13-year managerial role overseen by his father Jamie Spears.

“What the hell is going on?” One fan commented.

“There’s no reason to keep taking nude photos of herself and posting them online, it’s time for Britney to grow up,” one person said.

“You don’t need this. please, stop,” one fan wrote.

“Don’t underestimate your poor mental health… this is sad. Your poor kids,” another added.

But Britney has found an unlikely supporter, as Piers said he respects the mother of two – who is expecting her third child – for enjoying her freedom.

He considers her role as manager “a very real torture chamber”, and says she is controlled by “very tight arms”.

During a promo for The Sun, the former Good Morning Britain presenter said he “understands” why she decided to go topless.

“She doesn’t want to make any kind of claim other than that she’s free again, to be whatever she wants without having to get her controlling father’s approval first and a the legal system has made her a virtual slave,” he wrote.

Piers confessed that he was worried at first when she posted full-faced photos on Instagram, but he says she’s now “reborn.”

“The Britney I saw on Instagram this week is a reborn woman. And a free woman,” he wrote.

“Give her a break – she’s happy again.”
