Piers Morgan was unimpressed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s joint statement in which the pair condemned the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin

Piers Morgan once again threw shade at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the pair released a statement condemning the Russian attack on Ukraine.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spoken out against Vladimir Putin’s actions and said they are “siding with the Ukrainian people” as the situation escalates.
The message, shared on their Archewell website, read: “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and all of us at Archewell stand with the Ukrainian people against transgression international and humanitarian law, and encourages the global community and community of leaders to do the same.”
But it seems the presenter, 56, wasn’t impressed with their words.
Sharing his statement on Twitter, Piers quipped: “This is really going to piss Putin off.”
It happened after Piers himself had noticed the actions of the Russian prime minister the day before.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has previously described how Putin has “chosen the path of bloodshed and destruction”, and Piers took to social media to make clear his feelings about the president.
Sharing on Twitter, he said: “Putin invaded Ukraine. This is an act of war by a bully thug who doesn’t think the rest of the world has the courage or will to stop him. It’s embarrassing.”
He continued by adding: “Putin is doing this because he missed it last time in Crimea. And if he leaves it again in Ukraine, he will continue to invade other countries for until the restoration of the Soviet Union.
“The world must unite to stop this ruthless dictator – before it’s too late.”
But he was also unimpressed with how US President Joe Biden handled the situation.
Expressing his feelings in the democrat’s speech, he said: “Biden only laughed a few times during the press conference in Ukraine. What does he find funny?
“Doesn’t he realize the gravity of this situation? Doesn’t he care that so many innocent people are being murdered? What a horribly inappropriate and shameful moment.”
As Piers began his new job of hosting a new Today show in the United States, it was reported that he was in talks to do his first interview with pop pop singer Britney Spears since his court victory, which ended her role of conservator.
An insider suggested Britney could be an A-lister.
“Piers is keen to sit down with Britney – as are his former ITV staffers – so this is going to be a huge coup for him. And he wants to start with a bang.”
