Piplup distribution announced for Pokémon Legends: Arceus & Diamond/Pearl Remakes in South Korea

Another Pokémon distribution event has been announced for Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl for Nintendo Switch.

Up for grabs this time is a special piplup based on the one used by Dawn in the anime series. It’s available to Trainers in South Korea and can be unlocked by anyone spending more than 35,000 won on the Pokémon Store Online or 60,000 won for two codes.

Here’s Piplup’s moveset in each game, along with a look (thanks, Serebii.net):

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl have the Everstone and the moves Hydro Pump, Bubblebeam, Whirlpool, and Peck

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will have the Liquidation, Bubble, Water Pulse, and Aerial Ace moves

This event is expected to start on June 1st and last until July 31st, 2022. There is currently no word on whether a similar event will be made available in the West. A Piplup distribution took place earlier this year in February in Japan.
