Last night five of the 10 men were released without charge and the Gardaí will prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The FAI released a statement saying it had taken note of the latest developments in the investigation launched by the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB).
“The FAI, together with UEFA, remains a zero
Tolerance policy on match-fixing,” the statement said.
“As this is now a legal matter, we will have no further comment.”
