PlayStation 5 version of Apex Legends could be coming


PlayStation 5 users may not have to wait any longer for the original version of Apex Legends, according to the file information found on the PSN.

By PlayStationSize, while reviewing PSN updates, a PS5 entry was found with over 80GB download size without updates.

This means a PS5 version of the game is coming, and it also means you can expect the Xbox Series X/S version to arrive around the same time, if not the same day.

The game is already backward compatible with both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but an original version would be great, what happens to consoles with fast load times, higher resolutions and frame rates better.

Previously, Respawn said a next-gen version of the shooter was released, and EA confirmed this as well. Also, cross-play across game platforms is also live, so it’s possible that the nice little feature will launch with the next generation versions. You never know.

The internet seems to think Season 12 is the time when the original versions can drop. The season’s launch date is yet to be confirmed, but according to the current battle, Season 11 is expected to end on or around February 8. So it could be pretty soon.
