In an interview with, Herman Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, says: “Obviously we will continue to develop these single-player narrative-based games like Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us and Horizon Forbidden West.”

He continued, explaining: “But you recognized correctly that we’ve invested in live service games because that’s incredibly exciting for us. It allows us to build bigger worlds, it allows us to create really meaningful social connections between players.”
