Plug and Play, the global platform for business innovation and early-stage investors, launched in the UK. Through partnerships with leading UK brands – including founding partners Jaguar Land Rover and BT Group – Plug and Play will build and deliver innovation programs based on collaboration between companies and start-ups. Plug and Play also aims to make up to 30 investments per year in early-stage UK start-ups.

The Plug and Play UK team, led by Kieran Borrett, will work with leading companies to support their innovation ambitions and help UK-based start-ups access the world’s largest network of companies and investors. With British founding partner Jaguar Land Rover, Plug and Play will build a global open innovation platform with a focus on the mobility and sustainability ecosystem. The aim is to bring together leading companies and other ecosystem players to evaluate and test new technologies and business models developed by start-ups to enable companies to solve business challenges and seize new opportunities. The platform will also help Jaguar Land Rover achieve its ambitious target of net zero by 2039.
The Plug and Play UK program begins with a kick-off day on June 21st, with additional corporate partners to be announced shortly.
