In the first wave of cancellations, P&O Ferries had offered customers alternative routes for DFDS services.

For this weekend, however, DFDS has warned customers that there is “no availability for P&O customers” over the weekend and urged people not to travel to their port without a confirmed reservation.

Can I get my money back?

P&O Ferries have announced that they will issue a refund to all customers who were due to travel on the Dover Calais services and also pay the difference in cost between your original P&O Ferries booking and the cost of your new ticket with another operator.

Passengers can send their claims to help@poferries.com.

However, note that this only applies to customers traveling between Friday and Sunday.
