Pokémon got its first look at the Scarlet & Violet TCG

POKÉMON has revealed the first card set to appear in the Scarlet and Violet Trading Card Game (TCG).

The set includes all starter Pokémon and their evolutions, legendaries, and support cards.

There are some new moves included in the sets that are sure to change the way the game is played.

Here are all the cards revealed for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet TCG.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet TCG: All Pokémon cards

Starters and Developments

All starters and their evolutions have cards. There’s a new style of full-art cards for every starter.

The cards released were for the Japanese versions of the game and some moves may be translated differently in the official translation.

Here’s what you need to know about each card:

  • Simple Sprigatito 70 hp – digging claws – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 30 damage.
  • Complete Art Sprigatito 60 hp – Collect Sunlight – Cost: single grass energy. Effect: Place two basic energies in your hand.
    • seed bomb – Cost: single grass energy. Effect: 10 damage.
  • Floragato 90 hp – seed bomb – Cost: single grass energy. Effect: 30 damage.
    • magic whip – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 50 damage, switches the opponent’s Active Pokemon with a Benched one.
  • Meowscarada EX 310hp – Flower Trick ability – Effect: Discard a basic energy and deal 30 damage.
    • scratch nail – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 100 damage. When your opponent’s Pokémon becomes damaged, do an additional 120 damage.
  • Basic Fuecoco 80 hp – Approach – Cost: Single Burn Energy. Effect: 20 damage.
  • Whole style Fuecoco 90 hp – distance out – Cost: single colorless energy. Effect: Flip a coin when heads heal 30 damage.
    • Flicker – Cost: single colorless energy, single fire energy. Effect: 30 damage.
  • Crocalor 110 hp – fire breath – Cost: Single Burn Energy. Effect: 30 damage.
    • Hyper Voice – Cost: double fire energy. Effect: 50 damage.
  • Skeledirge EX 340 hp – song of vitality – Cost: one fire energy. Effect: 50 damage, heals 30 damage.
    • burning voice – Cost: double fire energy. Effect: 270 damage plus +10 damage for each damage counter on Skeledirge.
  • Basic Quaxly 70 hp – Ruthless accusation – Costs: one-off water energy. Effect: 30 damage, Quaxly takes 10 damage.
  • Whole Art Quaxly 60 hp – gel bet – Cost: single colorless energy, single water energy. Effect: 20 damage if your opponent’s Pokemon attacks next turn, toss a coin, if tails the attack misses.
  • Quaxwell 90 hp – water gun – Costs: one-off water energy. Effect: 30 damage.
    • syringes – Cost: single colorless energy, single water energy. Effect: 50 damage.
  • Quaquaval EX 320 hp – Excite Samba – Costs: one-off water energy. Effect: 60 damage, both you and your opponent swap your active Pokemon for a benched one.
    • shoot screw – Cost: single colorless energy, single water energy. Effect: 230 damage, Discard two Energy cards from Quaquaval.

Other Pokemon

The boxing legends have also been revealed and have two arts cards.

Other Pokemon revealed are all versions of Paldean Tauros and a form of Oricorio.

Here’s what you need to know about each card:

  • Koraidon 130 hp – claw slash – Cost: triple colorless energy. Effect: 70 damage.
    • Raging Catch – Cost: simple colorless energy, triple fire energy. Effect: 190 damage, Discard three Energy cards from Koraidon.
  • Miraidon 120 hp – Sharp catch – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 30 damage.
    • flash laser – Cost: single colorless energy, double lightning energy. Effect: 90 damage, also do 30 damage to a Benched Pokémon.
  • Paldean Tauros 130 hp – Angry Horn – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 20 damage, deals +10 damage for each damage counter on Tauros.
    • ordnance – Cost: simple colorless energy, double combat energy. Effect: 130 damage, deal 30 damage to Tauros.
  • Paldean Tauros (Blaze Breed) 130 hp – Angry Horn – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 20 damage, deals +10 damage for each damage counter on Tauros.
    • Blaze dash – Cost: single colorless energy, double fire energy. Effect: 120 damage, discarding an energy from Tauros.
  • Paldean Tauros (aqua breed) 130 hp – Angry Horn – Cost: double colorless energy. Effect: 20 damage, deals +10 damage for each damage counter on Tauros.
    • water diving – Cost: double colorless energy, single water energy. Effect: 60 damage to any Pokémon.
  • Oricorio 90 hp – ability passion dance – Effect: Restore 20 HP to each evolved Pokemon.
    • flap – Cost: one colorless energy, one fire energy. Effect: 30 damage.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet TCG: All support cards

Eight support cards were revealed. Four trainer cards, two item cards, and two new types of energy cards.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new support cards:

  • Super Energy Recovery – Discard two cards and get any four Energy cards from your discard pile.
  • Luminous energy – Works like any type of energy.
  • Rare Candy – Evolve a Benched Basic Pokémon into a Stage 2 Pokémon.
  • Artazon – Put a Basic Pokémon in your hand.
  • Dendra – Put a card under your deck and get five.
  • Clavel – Put three Basic Pokémon with 120 HP or less in your hand.
  • neon x2 – Draw three cards.
