In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, before you enter each Gym, you must complete a Gym Test for the leader to face you.

One of the most difficult puzzles to solve is Medali Gym, where you need to find leader Larry’s secret menu item.

To find out, you’ll have to walk around town, talk, and fight a bunch of people who will give you some clues.

Once you’ve collected these, order the item from the Treasure Eatery to have Larry fight you.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to Find Secret Menu Item to Fight Larry

There are four parts to discovering the secret menu item for Larry’s fitness test.

Each of them consists of two parts. The first one has you finding out a clue and the second one has you following the clue to find the answer.

In the city you can fight a small kid named Arval who will tell you to check the dropout at the ice cream stand.

If you browse the nearby ice cream vendors, you will find that an item does not belong.

Next you can defeat Santiago who will tell you Listen carefully to a blue bird.

Nearby is a bike with a blue Sqwakabilly on it. Listen to the Pokémon to find the next answer.

A fight with Gisela standing next to the gym will give you the clue to find her a dark spot surrounded by stairs.

If you check the gate below you will find the answer written on the floor.

Finally, when you start the fitness test, the staff will tell you that the menu item is seasoned like regulars to Treasure Eatery like their food.
