Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Best Team Star Order

There are five Team Star Bases in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that you must face off to complete the game.

These are separate from the top eight gyms in the world, and you must find and defeat each one if you want to complete the story.

However, since Pokémon is now an open world, it’s hard to say which base you should take first.

Don’t worry, we’ve done the research for you so you know how to beat Team Star in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Giacomo from Segin Squad – Dark Type

Despite being featured in the promos, Mela isn’t the easiest Team Star boss to defeat.

We recommend Giacomo, who has a team of Dark-type Pokémon.

Dark is weak to both the Fighting and Bug types, and this latter type is available in abundance in the early game.

His team has Dark, Ghost, and Psychic-type moves, so try to bring three Pokemon that resist those types.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Mela from Schedar Squad – Type Fire

Mela’s challenge is also very easy, but her team is a bit higher in level than Giacomo’s.

Fire-types are weak to Rock, Ground, and Water-types, and you should have a few of those to use at this point.

Sprigatito starters might struggle, but you can pick up Finizen or Klawf early in the game to help.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Atticus from Navi Squad – Poison-type

This can be a tricky fight, although clearing the base isn’t too difficult as long as you remember you can heal your Pokemon at vending machines.

Every time the Starmobile gets hit, it throws our Poison Spikes, which can inflict Poison on your Pokemon as they switch.

Steel- or Poison-type Pokemon are immune to this, so try to have at least one (if not three) of them on your team.

This is another point where Sprigatito starters might have a hard time.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Ortega of Ruchbah Squad – Fairy Type

Due to this base’s typing, Poison and Steel-types are again your best bets.

The fight itself isn’t too difficult, and if you have some Pokemon on your team that have Poison moves, like Dunsparce, then it should be a breeze.

He also leads a dual Water-type, so Electric or Grass-type moves will also come in handy.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Eri from Caph Squad – Battle Type

Eri is one of the toughest challenges in the game, although fighting is weak for a number of common types including Psychic, Fairy, and Flying.

Half of her team is made up of dual types that are weak against ground, so it might be a good idea to have some of those as well.

Fuecoco has a very solid ending form that can be great when combined with her powerful signature movement.
