Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to catch Finizen and evolve into Palafin

FINISH is one of the newest Pokemon introduced in Scarlet and Violet, and it’s also one of the most powerful in the game.

When evolved into Palafin, it has a grand total of 650 base stats, which is close to the strongest mons in the series, the god Arceus.

However, it can be a bit difficult to evolve, and it’s also hard to tell when it evolved.

How to evolve Palafin into Finizen in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

There is currently no way to catch Palafin outside of five star rare raids. So if you want one, you have to develop it from Finizen.

Luckily, Finizans can be found in abundance in the seas around the edge of the map.

There is also a set school of finizens in the sea of Area Two of the Western Province near the waterfall, where you are guaranteed to always find something.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to Evolve Finizen

Finizen must be at least level 38 to evolve, so make sure you level it up before attempting to evolve it.

The required level is based on the year Superman debuted, as the evolved Pokémon’s hero form is inspired by the Man of Steel.

Once you reach level 38, you must join someone else’s game or get someone else to join your game using Union Circle.

If you have Nintendo Switch Online, you can always do so through the Poké Portal.

If you’re not online, you’ll have to do it locally with a friend on the same Wi-Fi network.

Once in your friend’s game, you can simply level up Finizen again and it will evolve into Palafin.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: How to Transform Palafin into Hero Form

Once it evolves into Palafin, your Pokemon will look almost the same, except it will have a heart shape on its chest.

It also gains the new Zero to Hero ability, which gives Palafin his powers.

To switch from Zero form to Hero form, Palafin must enter, then switch out of combat, then switch back in.

The easiest way to do this is to send it into battle and use Flip Turn, which will instantly knock it out again.

If your backup Pokémon is down, you can send in Palafin again to see his impressive hero form.
