CHARCADET is a new Scarlet and Purple Pokémon that evolve into two different Pokémon.
For many people, its evolutions, Armarouge and Ceruledge, are some of the last two Pokemon humans obtain due to the unusual method.
The couple appeared early in the game’s marketing, making it even more coveted by fans.
How to evolve Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to Catch Charcadet
The first thing you have to do is catch a Charcadet. They appear anywhere on the map where there is tall grass.
However, they are a rare spawn, only 1% in some areas, so it may take a while to find them.
You can increase your chance of finding them with Fire Encounter’s power sandwiches like Pickle Sandwich or Curry and Rice Style Sandwich.
They can also appear in one or three star raids if you’re still in the early game.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to Evolve Charcadet
Charcadet has a special evolution item that must be used in order for him to evolve.
Each item is version-exclusive, making evolutions version-exclusive as well.
Purple players can catch Ceruledge by using the Malicious Armor item, while Scarlet players can obtain Armarouge by using the Cheap Armor.
If you need the other version’s armor, you can get it when someone attaches it to a Pokemon in a trade, or you can catch the final forms in five-star raids.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to get the vicious and cheap armor
Both sets of armor can be exchanged for items from a woman in Zapapico standing near a well.
In Scarlet, she trades you Auspicious Armor for 10 Bronzor Fragments, while in Violet you get Malicious Armor for 10 Sinistea Chips.
To get these items, you simply have to fight or catch the named Pokemon.
You can buy as much armor as you want as long as you have enough fragments or chips to trade.
