Police appeal after boys were attacked in Horsham underpass

Police are asking for tips after three teenagers attempted to steal phones and other belongings from two 12-year-old boys.

The three teenagers attempted to steal the boys’ belongings before attacking them in an underpass near Horsham railway station.

The two victims were approached at Crawley railway station before they all traveled to Horsham by train.

After disembarking the train at Horsham, the suspects and victims exited the train through the main entrance on North Street and headed towards the town centre.

There, the suspects threatened the victims and asked the two boys to follow them.

After taking the victims to a nearby underpass, they separated the two boys before claiming their phones and belongings, but when the victims refused, they were attacked.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 12th.

Officers have identified three people (pictured above) they want to speak to who may have information that could help them with their investigations.

If you witnessed what happened or know the identities of the three people the officers want to speak to, report this to the police on-line or call 101 and quote serial number 675 dated 11/21.
