Police appeal after robberies in East Wittering

POLICE are asking for the identities of these two men after three boys were threatened with stabbing and had their vapes stolen.

The robberies occurred between 9pm and 10pm on 31 August in Stocks Lane, Chichester.

Three boys were robbed under threat of stabbing in two separate incidents.

The first boy was stripped of his coat around 9:15 p.m. near a bus stop.

At around 9:50 p.m., two other boys were robbed. One for his vape while the other boy had his vape, phone and bank card taken from him.

In both incidents, the victims were approached by three boys.

Neither knife is said to have been physically seen by the victims.

Officers attended the scene and later found a 16-year-old boy outside the Co-op store in Bracklesham matching a description of the victims.

He was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on bail until September 29.

As the investigation is ongoing, anyone who knows the identity of these boys or has any other relevant information about the robberies is being asked to come forward on-lineor call 101 and quote serial number 1429 dated 08/31.
