Police appeal after Seaford Park attack

Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were reportedly attacked in a park.

The boys were punched and kicked by two other teenagers at Salts Recreation Ground in Richmond Road, Seaford, between 3pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday 3 August.

One of the boys was reportedly stamped on the head and officials want to find him to check on his well-being.

The group was near the cricket pitch when the incident happened.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “One of the suspects is white, 5ft 6in and slim build.

“He has shoulder length wavy brown hair and is believed to be between 14 and 16 years old.

“Anyone who has been in the area and heard or seen the incident can report it online or call 101 and quote serial number 1067 dated 10/08.

“Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by reporting online.”
