Four people were injured in a fight in a shop.
Police are looking for witnesses to an altercation at a shop in Crawley.
Officers were called to The Emporium in the High Street at around 3pm on Monday 6 December following reports of a disturbance.
Four people, including store employees, suffered injuries that required medical treatment.
A 36-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual physical harm, assault by hitting an officer and vandalizing property.
A 29-year-old woman from Crawley has been arrested on suspicion of assault resulting in actual physical harm and using threatening words and behavior to cause distress.
Both have been released on bail while investigations continue.
Now Sussex Police are investigating the altercation and are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened and particularly anyone who has relevant footage captured on their mobile phone.
Crawley CID’s PC Josh de Valmency said: “This attack took place in broad daylight at a time when the shop and surrounding area were busy with shoppers.
“It has shaken staff and we continue to support them as our investigation progresses.
“The vital work of the justice system can only function with the support of our community and I urge those who may have footage or more information to get in touch.”
