Police are investigating a report of a sex offense in Brunswick Square, Hove

DETECTIVES are investigating after a woman says she was the victim of a sex crime in a public garden.

The incident took place in Brunswick Square, Hove, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

During the investigation, the woman is supported by specially trained officers.

Police want to hear from any witnesses or anyone who has seen a man acting suspiciously in the area.

They would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have had relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or on 101 quoting Operation Pollington. Alternatively, information can be submitted anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
